Four years after completing my apprenticeship with the legendary master horn builder Hans Meier at “Musik-Alexander” in Mainz, Germany, my long-cherished dream of creating an F/Bb double horn became reality. The “Privée” model combines its own unique aesthetic with the highest demands on playability and the vibrant tone quality favored by European orchestras. The work is done by hand and with great care, ensuring that each and every instrument features excellent intonation and evenness throughout the registers. This horn never fails to attract musicians in search of an exceptionally fine instrument.
